A non-kosher scroll is provided if you would like one, otherwise, your own scroll would need to be less than 5" tall for the larger case and less than 4.5" for the smaller case. The clear case material is either glass or lucite. The metal end caps are made of either steel, nickel/silver, or anodized aluminum depending on the color/style. We don't use real copper or other metals like that which would oxidize or tarnish and discolor over time. The mezuzah is adhered with an adhesive backing or with nail/screws depending on your selection.
Different brands/types of glass produce different amounts of shards and everyone's wedding glass breaks differently. If your wedding glass broke in to large pieces, some may need to be broken down further to add to the case. If you broke a really large glass, all of it may not fit in the mezuzah. You could consider using the extra glass for something else as well.
